Princess Takamado English Essay Contest

As part of the Prince Takamado Japan Canada Memorial Fund's initiatives to encourage student mobility and cultural exchange, an essay contest has been established in honour of Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado. The aim of the Contest is to encourage English language study and to facilitate a greater understanding and interest in Canada among Japanese university students.

2011 Princess Takamado English Essay Contest

Submit an essay by the extended deadline of December 30th, 2011 for a chance at winning a prize worth approximately $3,000 (includes one term at the University of Alberta English Language Program and $750 travel award). Runner-up prizes are also available!
